I started making crocheted animals for my grandson whose daddy is a veterinarian. My other grandchildren then requested their favorite animals. It quickly expanded into the popular animal/character hats.
Since retiring from office work I am keeping busy with this hobby. Requests from friends to purchase items for gifts and the desire to generate some income has prompted me to open an Etsy shop.
